Roselle helps raise more than $200,000 for Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware

Congratulations to Todd Roselle of Diamond State Financial Group for raising more than $200,000 in the 2010 Delaware Mud Run. During the 5K race, nearly 700 teams of four run together through an obstacle course that is covered in mud.

Participants from Diamond State included Managing Partner Chris Burgos, Recruiter Stephanie Patterson, Advisors Greg Genovese, Jarrett Morris, Josh Shaver, Jon Termonia and Andrew Hipple, and staff members Melissa Ware and Monica Andrews. Todd helped conceive this idea of providing a fun event to give back to his community.

Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware Funds Cancer Research

Nemours Fund for Children’s Health is pleased to announce that the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware (LRFDE) has made a grant of $50,000 to support research being conducted by oncologist E. Anders Kolb, MD, Director of the Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The studies, being carried out in collaboration with Dr. Peter Houghton of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, test new anti-cancer compounds in laboratory models. more
